Murkowski to Hold Senate Field Hearing in
Anchorage Nov. 15 on Improving High School Graduation Rates |

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S.
Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, today announced that she will convene a
field hearing of the United States Senate Health, Education, Labor,
and Pensions Committee in Anchorage November 15, 2008, to explore what
the federal government can do to help improve high school graduation
rates and postsecondary success in Alaska and nationwide. Senator
Murkowski, a member of the committee, will chair the hearing.
